Where It All Began...
The Summoned is one of my favorite worlds to write about. There are so many characters and magic systems to explore. Rise of the Phantom Knights is one of multiple beginnings happening concurrently, as this story takes place across several dimensions.
The original story followed a princess's maid. Readers loved the maid so much, she became the princess. The story follows her relationship with a summoner trained by the Archsage, Sialla Danurian, and their journey across multiple dimensions to find each other.
While Sialla (right) is not featured in this short story, her life is impacted and driven by the events that take place. The artwork was designed with the video game in mind, and I think it captures Sialla's personality well. She's intelligent, elegant, and powerful.
I can't wait to finish this story. There won't be one or two books. It will be my largest series, and I can't wait to share it with you.
